New Strategies on the Use of the PCT incorporates 2009 PCT changes, such as the introduction of Supplemental International Search (SIS), with the widening use of the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH).

This short course is directed to patent attorneys, agents and patent portfolio managers. The two-hour presentation (VA CLE to be requested) includes an overview of the PCT process, SIS, PPH and some strategies on how the PCT can be used to take advantage of these aspects.

Basic Introduction to the PCT is a short course designed for patent professionals (paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries, etc) who need a basic understanding to begin working with PCT processes.

The PCT Learning Center offers a four-hour short course that covers PCT terminology, the functions of the PCT offices and authorities, PCT timelines, filing of the PCT request (application) form in both paper and electronic form.
